Job description
Business Development Manager - Aftercare
Location: Remote
Salary: Competitive
Our client is seeking a driven and commercially minded Aftercare Business Development Manager to join a growing solutions sales team focused on long-term service relationships within the built environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in fire and smoke safety systems, Build to Rent, Facilities Management, Housing Associations or Local Authority sectors, particularly those who understand how to develop service-led opportunities and framework agreements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and remote monitoring services associated with building safety systems. Working closely with Principal Accountable Persons and key decision makers, you will position aftercare solutions that support compliance, reliability and long-term asset performance.
A key part of the role will involve building strong relationships with stakeholders across property portfolios, converting service opportunities from completed projects, and expanding recurring maintenance agreements. You will develop and implement sales strategies that support revenue growth while ensuring excellent customer experience and long-term retention.
Working collaboratively with internal teams across sales, key accounts, delivery, marketing and technical support, you will help shape proposals that maximise value for both the customer and the business. You will also monitor market trends, identify emerging opportunities across the residential and public sectors, and provide insights to support strategic growth.
This position would suit a proactive business developer who enjoys building partnerships, understands the operational needs of property owners and managers, and is motivated by creating sustainable service revenue streams.
If you have a proven track record in business development within the residential property, facilities management or social housing sectors, we would love to hear from you.
