Social Sciences Manager
Competitive Salary / London UK (Hybrid Working)
We are looking for a Senior Social Scientist, who will provide and carry out social and resettlement activities on resources projects (mining sector, oil and gas and renewables) throughout Africa.

The role
You will be expected to.
- Manage the administrative and technical aspects of social impact assessment and resettlement projects (either as stand-alone projects or as part of an ESIA).
- Win projects through proposal compilation and building of positive relationships with new and existing clients.
- Compile Social Impact Assessment reports and Resettlement Action Plans.
- Manage socio-economic and asset surveys, including analysis and interpretation of survey data.
- Provide support and mentorship to junior staff.
- Project managing and administrating projects, where required.
Requirements
You will.
- Have demonstrable experience in compiling professional reports that meet applicable technical requirements.
- Be able to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally.
- Must be willing to travel internationally.
- Have specialist knowledge within the field of social impact assessment and resettlement.
- Knowledge of French or Swahili would be beneficial (but not essential).
- Must have a valid driver's licence.
- Post graduate degree in Anthropology, Sociology, Research Psychology or related field.
