Senior Analyst in Sustainability & ESG, Dallas USA.

We are seeking a Senior Analyst in Sustainability & ESG to work for a global business who are concentrated on meeting the world's growing demand for energy in a sustainable way.

In this role as a Sustainability & ESG Senior Analyst you will help ensure the business maintains its leading edge in the formulation, delivery, and communication of their overall sustainability and ESG strategy. This strategy will help the business deliver on its pledge to support energy transition as well as remain a leader amongst its peers for its continued work across sustainability topics within the industry.

As the successful analyst you will work with a highly experienced team in Sustainability and Public Affairs, utilising your strong interpersonal and communication skills to work closely with the Director of Sustainability & ESG as well as other key members of the business's leadership team including the CEO. Your work will also include working alongside various employees, partners and governments from around the world.

You will be used to analysing complex information from multiple sources to enable you to provide concise overviews and recommendations with the ability to adapt your writing or verbal communication style to tell the story and deliver information as befitting a variety of channels and circumstances.

This is a role that would suit someone who thrives and is comfortable in an informal operating environment, someone who has a real entrepreneurial outlook with an interest in sustainability and ESG. Ideally you will have 3 years of experience in relevant ESG work within a corporate environment, perhaps consulting or corporate communications. You will also have knowledge of initiatives such as the Task Force on Climate-Related Disclosures, Sustainable Development Goals and the Value Reporting Foundation. This along with a good understanding of ESG ratings and indices and a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (English, Communications, Sustainability). You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and the intellectual challenge such a role brings working across the entire company to drive the Sustainability & ESG agenda.

Please note this position requires approximately 10% travel, domestic and internationally. The clients preference is for the successful candidate to be Based in Dallas USA all candidates are required to hold right work in the USA.

Any knowledge and experience gained within ESG from different sectors / industries will be advantageous.
