We have a wonderful opportunity for a science or engineering based professional to lead a product compliance programme on an international platform.
Our longstanding client is the leading global manufacturer of specialised industrial equipment with locations in 50 countries worldwide. Their early stage programme to manage, map and maintain a register of chemicals in their product range is growing and broadening out to wider compliance issues in the environmental/sustainability sphere.
Within a comprehensive corporate sustainability and ESG programme the chemical and compliance programme covers all of their global operations and extensive supply chain and works in partnership with other sustainability leaders in the business.
We seek a Programme Manager to lead this key project into its next stage of development which offers future potential for career advancement and scope of work increases.
ABOUT YOU
You will have a degree in a STEM subject with relevant experience related to product development, materials and/or chemicals including some knowledge of the chemicals regulatory framework ie. REACH.
You will also have demonstrable experience, or clear potential, to manage a range of stakeholders, often remotely given the international nature and scale of the organisation, including those at a senior level. In the role of Programme Manager you will be tasked with promoting next steps and have the ability to put sound arguments together for business cases as well as managing numerous professional contacts and relationships internally and externally.
The role is hybrid and includes home working but you will need to be based within commutable distance of one of a number of EU and UK offices with a willingness to attend office part week and with occasional travel (including internationally).
