An exclusive role has arisen for Sustainability Director with a major supplier and distributor of specialist products.

As a new position created with the aim of leading, advising and steering the group forward in all aspects of Sustainability, this represents a superb opportunity for an experienced in house Sustainability professional to apply their skills and knowledge. With direct access to the board and guiding hand on the tiller you can achieve significant gains in multiple aspects of this large organisation.

Headquartered in the West Midlands with operations across the UK regions you will be largely based in HQ but willing to travel (UK) to engage the business and wider external stakeholders to effect culture change and uptake of Sustainability as core. Indeed a strong set of communication skills, both internally and externally, are critical to the role and highly considered in the selection of the candidate for this role.

You will help set the strategy, leading the discussion and engagement with business leaders to establish a road map and set about implementation of initiatives to positively affect both direct operations (i.e assets, fleet), supply chain organisations, product sustainability, internal and external stakeholder engagement and reporting across sustainability, climate change and ESG matters.
