Allen & York are proud to be partnering with an established, global law firm as they look to recruit a Sustainability Manager to join their Team. As a small team, this is a great opportunity for you to have more autonomy and make a bigger individual impact, and so is perfect for someone who is looking to feel valued and gain a wide range of experience across a broad range of Sustainability issues within an international context.
Who are they looking for?
- You must have experience with technical, data related sustainability such as Scopes 1,2,3, Carbon Footprint, ISO14001 and Sustainability Reporting eg TCFD
- At least 3 years experience within a Sustainability role
What does the role involve?
- Collect and analyse environmental data such as Scope 1, 2 and 3, ensuring environmental compliance in line with ISO14001
- Calculate carbon footprints and Sustainability Reporting Frameworks
- Project and predict trajectories of Science Based Targets, Net Zero and ESG
- Work with external consultants to verify and validate data
- Be an internal sustainability advocate through organising and promoting various activities and best practice in sustainability
Although this is a fixed-term 12 month contract, this role will give you high exposure to a number of areas of ESG and Sustainability and as such will give you a wide range of experience and skills across multiple different areas. These skills are in extremely high demand at the moment and as such would be an excellent stepping stone in your career.
