Allen & York are delighted to be working with a long standing client in the construction sector to help them grow their Sustainability Team based on steady and sustained growth.

One of their more urgent roles is a fixed term contract for c.18-24 months to work on a high profile project in Belgium. As such, you will be a fluent French speaker and have experience of working on large construction projects, ideally within the pharmaceutical or similar sector. You will be experienced with implementing sustainability from the design stage right through to completion, working with a range of stakeholders and coming up with innovative ways of looking at sustainability and circularity, which are well received within the Team.

It goes without saying that you'll have strong and proven experience of working in a sustainability capacity within the construction sector, sound project management and organisational skills, the ability to translate complex technical information to non technical team members and really embed sustainability within the project from start to finish.

You will be based in Belgium for the duration of the contract but then there may be other opportunities within the business moving forward.
