Job description
A new position has arisen for a Sustainable Package Coordinator. You will be responsible for reducing packaging material within varied & challenging product range. Analysing current packaging, types, material, weight & recycled content relating to the current product range. This will be an interesting and challenging role, reviewing and helping implement new more sustainable packaging.
Responsibilities
- Analyse existing and new data to update database for packaging types, material, weight & recycled content relating to the current product range
- Review current product packaging and work with supply chain to identify problem lines and bring in line with company policy & current UK packaging legislations
- Identify & target specific supplier and product ranges, prioritising packaging denoted to have the most significant impact against company policy
- Driving continual improvements through supply chain & key business partners
- Identify, create & track KPIs to enable efficient reporting on packaging reduction
- Utilising the findings from reporting data, to drive action plans and inform key business decisions
- Support compliance with environmental legislation sustainability data management and analysis
