Technical Expert - Water & Wastewater PPP (EBRD-funded Project, Uzbekistan)
My client is preparing a proposal for an EBRD-funded tender, "Transaction Advisor for the Samarkand Drinking Water and Wastewater Systems PPP", and are seeking a qualified Technical Expert to join their consortium.
Location: Uzbekistan (Samarkand) - project-based, with possible CIS travel

The Role
You will deliver world-class technical consultancy across the full lifecycle of the project-from inception and design through to construction, operation, maintenance, and hand-back. This includes leading feasibility studies, technical specifications, and procurement processes, ensuring compliance with national and international standards for a successful PPP transaction.
Key Requirements
Master's in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or 10+ years relevant experience.
8+ years in water/wastewater treatment projects, covering the full water cycle.
Experience in at least two PPP projects in the last 8 years, advising the public sector.
Strong knowledge of treatment processes, sludge handling, and international standards.
Fluent English; Uzbek/Russian an advantage.
Uzbekistan/CIS project experience desirable.
