Civil Engineer-£Competitive

Are you an experienced Civil Engineer with experience or the desire to work on Flood, coastal and maritime projects? This could be the position for you.
Our client is a multidisciplinary Environmental Consultancy undergoing a large growth stage, they have aspirations to increase head count by almost 50% across all sectors this year.
The role
We are looking for a Civil Engineer to work within our clients Flood, Maritime and Coastal team situated in their Bradford-upon-Avon office, with a focus on flood defence and river restoration projects in the Southwest. Ideally, we are looking for someone who has recently became chartered with CIWEM or ICE or is well on their way to becoming a chartered professional.
You will undertake feasibility studies to select optimum solutions; prepare business cases to unlock funding; design cost-efficient schemes using the latest digital technologies; provide construction supervision and administrative support; and advise on how to best manage and extend the life of clients' assets.
Skills and Experience we're looking for:
We are looking for someone who is Chartered, with a relevant educational background. Ideally with previous experience working on flood and coastal risk management projects as well as flood defence and river restoration projects at appraisal, outline design, detailed design and/or construction phases.
