Job description
Allen & York is delighted to be working with an independent, award winning supplier of ambient foods as they look to recruit a CSR Manager to join their Team and lead on ensuring all of the goods are sourced, shipped and distributed sustainably and ethically. My client has an international supply base in over 16 countries and supplies to all of the leading UK retailers, so this is a fantastic opportunity for you to broaden your experience in this sector already or to move into this sector from another one.
You will have experience of working in ethical trade, ideally in the food and drink sector, but you could have gained your expertise in the fashion sector or from working in the supply chain in an FMCG company.
The ability to analyse complex data sets and convert this into insightful presentations for senior management is required, together with a collaborative attitude, but also the ability to work independently when required.
In addition to this, you will be comfortable and keen to attend a range of forums, events and conferences, where you'll get the opportunity to share best practice and learn from your peers in the sector. You will hold strong client facing skills and be willing to visit factories and/or fisheries if you'd like to.
You will ideally hold a 2:1 in a relevant subject, together with a few years' experience working in the field of sustainable and ethical trade.
In return, a competitive salary and attractive benefits package, including a discretionary bonus and healthcare is on offer. Based in Reigate, they work four days in the office and one from home, so you need to live close enough to access the offices on a daily basis. So, if you'd like to find out more about this really interesting opportunity, please send your CV to kpereira@allen-york.com.
