Job description
Allen & York are delighted to be working with an innovative, global manufacturing business as they look to recruit an Environmental Compliance Consultant to join their Sustainability Team and work alongside their European offices to promote sustainability principles and ensure compliance with legislation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a sustainability professional with experience of environmental compliance, in particular chemical compliance and circularity. You will support Sustainability Managers across Europe by providing advice on EU environmental regulatory compliance, working with the commercial and product development teams and implementing sustainability initiatives so that the global sustainability goals are delivered and in line with UN SDG's.
You will hold a relevant environmental science degree, together with some experience of having worked in a similar corporate environment, or within a consultancy and you'll possess strong technical skills, ideally REACH and RoHS experience, together with excellent stakeholder engagement and project management skills.
In return, you'll work with an established team of sustainability professionals where you can learn and develop, both 'on the job' and by accessing their library of e-learning courses, and you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package. Based in Manchester, they do work on a hybrid basis and so you will be required to attend the offices three times a week so you'll need to live within a commutable distance of Manchester.
So, if you would like to join a global business and join a passionate and innovative sustainability Team working across Europe, please contact kpereira@allen-york.com.
