Dunbar, East Lothian, Scotland (potential for remote/flexible working)

Allen & York are thrilled to be working with a highly respected technology-focussed marine science consultancy, specialising in marine fauna, underwater-sound monitoring, acoustical and statistical modelling. With an impressive global client list, this is a great opportunity to join a leading consultancy at an exciting time in its growth.

Our client is looking for a commercially minded Director/ Head Marine of Projects to lead the tendering team, working closely with the Directors and other members of the senior management team to help grow the business within the UK and internationally. The successful candidate will lead and mentor a team of consultants, delivering high quality projects to deadline.

You'll need to hold a relevant post graduate degree within marine or environmental science, with comprehensive experience of working in offshore sectors, specifically renewables, construction, defence, oil and gas. You'll have solid project management experience, with demonstrable tender preparation and proposal writing skills. An excellent communicator, you'll enjoy building positive and long-lasting relationships with clients and stakeholders and exploring new business opportunities.
