Environmental Consultant/ Project Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Environmental Consultant/Project Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a range of environmental projects, with a focus on oil pollution and contaminated land. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple environmental projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
• Oversee the financial control of projects, including budgeting, invoicing, and managing payments.
• Procure and manage subcontractors, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing regular updates and managing expectations.
• Deliver high-quality, commercially focused solutions and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct field surveys, gather data, and carry out desk-based research to assess site contamination levels.

Qualifications/Experience:

• A science-based degree, with additional qualifications in environmental impact assessment, environmental management, or a related field preferred.
• Relevant industry experience, with strong technical and project management skills.
• Knowledge of international environmental and social standards (e.g., IFC, World Bank) is desirable.
• Experience in sectors such as renewable energy, transport, or property is advantageous.
• Strong commercial awareness, with proven ability to manage project finances and teams effectively.
