Environmental Intelligence and Reporting Manager

Hybrid/Home based - Occasional office base South Coast

The role of Environmental Intelligence and Reporting Lead provides global reporting and analysis of the organisation's environmental impacts to inspire action and move the dial on corporate management of sustainability in all its forms. It supports decision making at board level and helps our client to continue to lead the market when it comes to sustainability and regeneration. In this role you will lead the function across the business and in support of other departments.

This role will be expected to use data and reporting as a key driver of change, helping the business prioritise time and financial resources in interventions that will deliver decarbonisation, a carbon positive supply chain, and equip your colleagues with the information they need to improve practices towards environmental goals.
To this role, you will bring a high degree of technical skills alongside the ability to deal with complex data sets, combined with the capacity to communicate on non-financial impact in accessible language to stakeholders internally and externally.

You will work closely with the Group Finance, Environmental, supply chain and Business Intelligence teams reporting to the Environmental Board and commercial leadership personnel to create a full picture of the organisation's impact on the world.

The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 5 years experience in environmental management systems and/or financial and non-financial reporting; SBTi, GHG protocol, and other reporting initiatives will be advantageous. Excellent organisational and communication skills, strong people skills, and ability to build good relationships is sought in this role.
