Geo-Environmental Consultant
£21,000 - £33,000 / Cambridge
Are you an environmental professional, with experience spill response, contamination investigation and remediation projects, looking for a great new role?
We're looking for a Geo-Environmental Consultant to strengthen a successful team in Cambridge, working on working on contaminated land projects across the East. If this sounds like you, read on!
The role
You will;
Manage projects from inception to completion and will involve both office and varied site work.
Dependent on experience, the role may also offer opportunities in geotechnics, hydrogeology, remediation design, and other related fields.
Investigate historic contamination, respond to pollution events, and remediate groundwater and soils.
Requirements
As a Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant you will:
Have a relevant degree (geology, environmental science, hydrogeology or similar).
Have at least 1 years' relevant industry experience.
Have a knowledge of Phase I and II site investigations and/or spill response.
Have a good understanding of Health and Safety on site.
Be motivated, have good organisational and problem-solving skills, and sound commercial awareness with an understanding of project budgets and timelines.
An understanding of remediation techniques and their application, knowledge of environmental risk assessment, and experience in managing sub-contractors would also be beneficial.
A full UK/EU driving licence is essential for this role.
