Job description
Allen & York are delighted to be working with the UK's leading Carbon Offsetting Initiative who work with a range of companies to manage and reduce their carbon emissions, as well as then helping to offset some of these emissions by investing in conservation projects around the UK. They're now looking to recruit a Junior Environmental Consultant to join their Team and assume a client facing role, utilise your data collection and analytics skills and produce carbon reduction plans and reports.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious sustainability professional who's relatively early on in their career, to join an innovative and growing business, and to have access to various clients and collect the relevant company data required to produce carbon footprint calculations and subsequent reports.
As such, you'll hold a relevant environmental science degree, as well as some experience working in an analyst role (or similar), together with a desire to learn and develop, something which the client promotes. Due to the relatively flat hierarchy, there are also lots of opportunities for you to become involved in related areas including marketing, sales and business operations.
With offices based in Central London, they offer a hybrid working model of three in the office and two from home, so you'll be based in the South East, within a commutable distance to London.
So, if you're early on in your career but you have some experience working in a similar role/capacity, and you'd like to find out more, please share your CV to kpereira@allen-york.com.
