Chartered Principal Landscape Architect - Leeds or Birmingham

This is your chance to join one of the UK's largest and most diverse landscape practices, as a Principal Landscape Architect you will take a lead on a range of types and sizes of projects, including strategic planning, major infrastructure, urban regeneration and environmental enhancement schemes. With a wide range of experience and a proven track record in landscape planning, including LVIA and TVIA, as a Principal Landscape Architect you will be based ideally in Leeds but the business would also consider you if you are in Birmingham or Manchester area.
Ideally you will have a Landscape Institute Accredited Bachelor's degree, Diploma and/or Masters degree, and be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute this foundation with allow you to demonstrate how technically competent in preparing landscape and/or townscape and visual impact assessments and appraisals LVIA / TVIA and evidence-base documents to support development plans and policies you are.
Using your post Chartership experience, and thorough knowledge and understanding of the UK legal and planning system with respect to landscape architecture as well as an understanding of project management, including financial control and reporting and programme management and ability to manage your own budgets, you will undertake the management of projects, including contractual, financial and programme management.
In additional you will be expected to take charge of the production of LVIA chapters for inclusion into Environmental Statements, produce or oversee the production of drawings and other technical documentation using appropriate software, with the necessary level of detail as required at various stages of development: strategies, conceptual design, detailed design and production information. With this in mind any additional experience of some or all of the following would also be advantageous: ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civils 3D, Revit, LSS, ProjectWise and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
