Maintenance Supervisor - Lifting Operations

Are you an experienced lifting and rigging professional looking for your next leadership challenge? Our client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee lifting operations and equipment based in North-East Lincolnshire. This is a key role responsible for managing a team of rigging professionals and contractors, ensuring maintenance schedules are met safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities will include.

  • Lead and supervise the Maintenance Rigging Team and contractors to safely execute lifting operations.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as company policies.

  • Plan, allocate, and oversee maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to engineering standards.

  • Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs, including schedule compliance.

  • Represent rigging operations in Operational Effectiveness & Review (OE&R) meetings.

The role will ensure compliance with Lifting Equipment & Lifting Operations Regulations (LOLER), provide leadership and performance management for the Rigging Team as well as supervise and coordinate crane hire and external engineering surveys.

Included in this role, this individual will lead incident investigations and Root Cause Analyses (RCA's) and maintain high standards within the Maintenance Rigging Facility.

Candidates will need a HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or proven industry experience.
Appointed Person (Lifting Operations) & Lift Supervisor certification.
Recognised Lifting & Rigging qualification.
Strong people management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office & SAP.
