This is your chance to be part of an exciting time of change and growth while helping to deliver a new Electric Vehicle (EV) proposition based in London. This role will utilise your procurement expertise but allow you to innovate and help shape the new EV business offering the client is building. Your skills in communication, building collaborations and overcoming future challenges will be as important as your expertise in procurement and right to supply (B2B).
As Procurement Manager you will rely on your procurement experience and passion for the EV market in equal measure, while demonstrating a real passion for working in a fast paced ever changing business in a business critical & influential role. Ideally you will hold a Business degree (or equivalent) or have gained experience in business in line with the above and be at least level 4 CIPS qualified and actively working towards MCIPS.
Having worked within a dynamic corporate environment you will utilise your 3-5 years' experience managing the procurement strategy to help create a lean, adaptable, nimble and sustainable supply chain, no time for range anxiety here! You will be responsible for carrying out due diligence for all suppliers along with arranging supply agreements within an already developed framework. Your knowledge of contract law and ability to work alongside the in-house legal team for contract negotiations with be of great advantage to you, while you conduct market analysis, negotiations and contracting agreements with a range of specialist industry suppliers.
You will draw on your experience and knowledge, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to help facilitate growth and profitability for the business through robust client and supplier management. Coordinating and leading Procurement initiatives and developing the category strategies while ensuring they are aligned with the corporate procurement plan and GSP initiatives.
Your drive and torque to succeed will stand out from the crowd as you conduct tactical and strategic sourcing projects (including vendor screening) via approved channels and facilitates storage of associated contracts as per agreed processes help ensure continued business success.
