Job description
Allen & York are seeking an experienced Recycling Operations Manager to lead a flagship Recycling and Reuse Centre in West London. You will manage a team of 30-40 staff, oversee a £3 million operational and capital budget, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant site operations.
The role offers authority to make operational, financial, and safety decisions, while driving innovation in recycling, reuse, and circular economy initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have proven operational leadership experience, strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, and the ability to manage budgets and performance. Excellent people management and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
Candidates will have relevant qualifications such as WAMITAB, an IOSH Certificate and project management or Six Sigma.
