Regional Sustainability Lead - EMEA

Are you passionate about sustainability and eager to make a tangible impact across multiple countries? We are looking for a Regional Sustainability Lead to spearhead sustainability initiatives, ensure strategic alignment with organisational goals, and foster cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of sustainability programmes and projects across EMEA.

  • Collaborate with local teams to implement sustainability projects, including carbon neutrality, waste reduction, energy efficiency, and circular economy practices.

  • Track and report sustainability metrics to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

  • Drive operational improvements by identifying and implementing opportunities to enhance energy and sustainability performance.

  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to elevate sustainability efforts.

  • Support local EHS teams by managing sustainability initiatives that go beyond compliance to achieve operational excellence.

  • Act as a strategic advisor, guiding site teams on best practices for resource utilisation and sustainability innovation.

  • Assess current site capabilities, identify resource gaps, and recommend actions to regional and site leaders.

  • Work closely with site managers to overcome obstacles and achieve sustainability goals.

What You Bring:

  • Proven experience in energy auditing, energy efficiency projects, producing net-zero roadmaps, and monitoring sustainability performance.

  • Experience working in the EMEA region and leading diverse teams.

  • A qualification in Sustainability, Environmental Science or a related field.

  • Membership (or intention to obtain) of a relevant professional body such as IEMA or a local equivalent.
