Are you a Senior Development Planner with Renewables Experience?
Allen & York are proud to be working exclusively with our client a privately owned development consultancy who own develop and run renewable energy sites across the UK. You will be working as a Senior Renewables Development Planner, to develop and reclaim land (if required) for a variety of uses including renewable energy (on shore wind and solar PV).
As a Senior Development Planner (Renewables) you will be joining a highly experienced development team, primarily working out of offices in central Scotland, with occasional travel to other offices across the North East.
In this role you will be manging projects through from inception to completion including gaining all necessary planning permissions, drawing on your minimum of 5 years' experience preparing and managing complex planning applications, ideally this will include renewable energy planning applications (wind farms/solar/battery) and liaising with local planning authorities and key stakeholders.
You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with qualifications in, or relevant to, Town and Country Planning, Your demonstrable experience of being able to work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team and on an individual basis with minimum supervision will shine through.
In this role ideally you will hold Chartered status of the RTPI or IEMA along with a full UK Driving licence and comfortable with regular travel.
