Allen & York are excited to be working with a leading international and multidisciplinary consulting firm with offices in London and throughout the Middle East and Africa. Dedicated to planning, designing, engineering and managing infrastructure projects, this is an exciting opportunity to join an established team of environmental specialists in London.

Our client is looking for a Senior Environmental Specialist to lead tasks and support project managers in the management of environmental and social issues across a wide range of large infrastructure projects, with particular emphasis on planning and transport sectors within the UK and internationally.

You'll need to hold a Bachelor and/or Masters degree in a relevant environmental or ecological discipline and hold full membership (or be working towards) of IEMA, IES, CIEEM, CIWEM. With comprehensive experience in ESIA/EIA, you'll have experience of working in a multi-disciplinary consultancy and be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and experience of international environmental and social safeguard standards. An excellent communicator with strong report writing and presentation skills, you will have the ability to work collaboratively in a team and motivate others. Experience of working internationally, especially in Africa and the Middle East together with additional language skills would be advantageous in this role.
