Allen & York are delighted to be working with a boutique sustainability consultancy, who due to an ever-increasing workload, are looking to recruit a Senior Sustainability Consultant to join their Team.
Joining a super Team of professionals who are engaging with a range of clients across various sectors, your sustainability strategy, senior stakeholder engagement, materiality assessment and communications strategy experience are required to ensure companies are ESG ready and aligned. You'll need to evidence your experience of leading on projects covering a range of sustainability and ESG issues, engaging with clients from the outset and working with them to formulate strategies and navigate their way through a transition to a sustainable business. You'll have set goals and targets based on various frameworks (it goes without saying that you'll be familiar with a range of these), worked in the delivery team, responding to challenges, leading workshops and preparing presentations and reports.
In addition to working with clients, you'll be responsible for contributing to thought leadership pieces, attending conferences and events and promoting the business.
This role really suits someone with prior sustainability consulting experience who may be limited and now wants to take on more autonomy and responsibility and to operate at a more strategic level, but it could also appeal to someone working in one of the Big 4. Regardless of where you come from, you'll have experience of managing more junior team members and any languages are hugely desirable.
