Our client is one of the UK leading construction and infrastructure organisations working across a range of disciplines including civil engineering, utilities, infrastructure, and rail.
A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Health & Safety Adviser to support the Regional Civils and utilities team in the West Midlands to advise across a range of sites on long term civil engineering projects valued at £5-15m.
The role will include delivering continual SHE improvements across the business region and confirming SHE processes are implemented to ensure compliance as well as providing support and advice to the SHE Manager and Contract Director in maintaining the highest standards on site.
Working as part of a team the overall purpose of the role will be to ensure the highest possible standards of SHE responsibility are implemented across the business as well as providing coaching and mentoring support as required. A key part of the role will be ensure that the operational Delivery Teams are fully supported.
Candidates should have experience working in the construction sector, ideally utilities, civils or infrastructure and will have a proven track record of working with Site Managers, Project Managers and site staff with a flexibility for travel across the West Midlands and Midlands regions.
Candidates should have a NEBOSH Construction Certificate ideally with some experience of working with management systems and will hold a valid UK driving licence.
