Site Manager

Our client is one of the UKs leading environmental services organisations working with partners across the UK and Europe to manage the circular economy through transferring waste to energy to help build a more sustainable world.

This role is to lead on a key site in North Wales to manage the operations and support and lead the team to ensure efficiency across the operations including plant operations and logistics ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and Safety, Health and Environment obligations.

The role will have responsibility for the smooth running of a 24/7 operation providing leadership and a proactive approach to ensure that training is provided as required to all employees and maintaining high standards with an ability to instigate change as required.

Candidates will require experience of managing a site to high standards and conformity, managing key stakeholders in a positive manner to instigate change and improvement as required building trust and a team ethic.
Ideally, candidates will have a waste or recycling background but most important is site management experience which could include e.g. quarrying or construction.

Candidates will need to demonstrate a track record of working in a Site Management position with positive change actioned, team management skills, interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude to getting the job done.
Ideally with COTC or WAMITAB candidates with relevant experience will be considered. This is an on-site, 5 days a week role so candidates will be required to be based within commutable distance of the Wrexham region.
