Job description
Allen & York is excited to be working with a boutique sustainability consultancy based in London as they look to recruit a Sustainability Consultant to join their diverse and experienced team of professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join a growing business, led by two incredibly experienced sustainability and communications leaders, who have built up a strong reputation over the years.
My client works with large, complex organisations across a range of sectors on various sustainability issues, including sustainability strategy, materiality assessments, target setting and senior stakeholder engagement. As such, you'll have been working in the sustainability space, not necessarily in consultancy…you could be in a corporate setting and you're feeling penned in and looking for more responsibility and variety. What you do need to have is experience of working with the frameworks and standards frequently used by businesses, so TCFD, SBTi's, SASB, GRI, UN SDG's, etc.
In addition to these technical skills, you'll have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, you'll be comfortable engaging with senior leaders, preparing and delivering proposals and pitches and manage a range of projects simultaneously.
Working in a collaborative, team focused environment, you will be able to contribute your skills and expertise, whilst learning from your peers and ultimately delivering a high quality, bespoke service to their clients. Based in fantastic offices in Central London, my client operates a hybrid working model so you will need to be able to access the office 2-3 times a week so you'll most likely be based in London or the Home Counties.
So, if you tick the boxes on the technical side and would like to find out more about advancing your career in this exciting and vibrant consultancy, please send your CV to kpereira@allen-york.com.
