Allen & York are delighted to be working with a leading, international creative communications agency with sustainability at its core as they look to recruit a Director of Sustainability Strategy for their US office and clients.

Based on either the East or West coast of America (there are offices in both locations but the former office is more established), you will be joining an established Team working closely with clients in the US to develop innovative and creative sustainability strategies. In order to do this successfully, you will ideally have a combination of in-house and consultancy experience, where you've designed and implemented strategies, identified opportunities for different businesses and managed a Team of people to successfully roll out the work.

You'll have strong stakeholder engagement and materiality assessment skills, the ability to formulate strategies, governance frameworks and carbon reduction work and you'll be competent at contributing to proposals. You'll be inventive and creative with a 'can do' attitude and the vision to identify new opportunities with both new and existing clients.

Ideally, you'll hold a sustainability degree and/or masters combined with proven experience in the sector, strong communication skills, team management experience and a desire to deliver compelling sustainability strategies to make companies stand out from the crowd.
