Technical Energy & Carbon Consultant

Job description

Allen & York are delighted to be working with a leading energy solutions company to recruit a Technical Energy and Carbon Consultant to join their team. You will be working with clients to identify and develop energy and carbon reduction opportunities at their facilities, so you will have extensive experience in a customer-facing role in the energy and carbon field to be able to demonstrate that you can engage and communicate efficiently.

Delivering energy and carbon consultancy to UK and EMEA customers, you will bring your knowledge and experience of conducting on-site energy assessments, undertaking energy feasibility assessments, carbon accounting, and GHG Protocol. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across the wider sustainability business, assisting customers on their journey to Net Zero.

Ideally, you will be a qualified ESOS Lead Assessor, be familiar with industrial and commercial energy consuming equipment and systems, and hold strong data analysis and report writing skills. You should also be comfortable working on multiple engagements simultaneously, as you will be supporting several clients and engaging with various stakeholders.

You will largely be working remotely so can be based from anywhere in the UK, however there will be elements of travel involved with site visits.

If you have relevant experience and would like to find out more about the role, please email your CV to Giorgia at gknox@allen-york.com.
