Job description
Join an innovative team at the forefront of the Energy and Renewables sector! We're on the lookout for a dynamic Chartered Surveyor specialising in Energy and Renewables to join a thriving Climate Department. As a key player within the team, you'll work remotely or from our hubs in Oxford, Inverness, Cambridge, or Perth, on a full-time basis.
Your role will be pivotal in representing landowners and advising them on renewable energy projects, leveraging your expertise at a senior level in this field. From promoting land for development to negotiating terms with developers, you'll champion clients' interests throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include acting as a trusted advisor to landowners, guiding negotiations, collaborating with professionals, conducting site visits nationwide, and maintaining proactive communication with clients. Moreover, your contribution will extend beyond day-to-day tasks as you actively contribute to expanding our presence in the Energy and Renewables market, developing future revenue streams.
To excel in this role, you'll bring a blend of technical prowess and interpersonal finesse. Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and mapping software, exceptional report writing abilities, and a friendly yet professional disposition are must-haves. Your attention to detail, ability to prioritize tasks, and adeptness at communicating across various mediums will be invaluable in this role. Additionally, financial acumen and commercial awareness will further augment your success.
While MRICS is desirable, your experience in negotiating renewable energy documentation or commercial leasing negotiations will be highly valued. Continual professional development is key, ensuring your technical knowledge remains current while also sharing expertise within the firm.
