Our client is looking for an innovative Chief Operations Officer, who will effectively nurture and develop client relationships, identify and develop new business opportunities and manage the offices across Southern Africa, with the potential of opening new operations.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in an exciting and dynamic organisation, driving the business forward and making a real difference to the lives of your colleagues, clients and the communities you engage with.
You will hold a post graduate degree in Natural Science, Social Science or in an environmental field with a Management Development Programme or similar qualification. With comprehensive and extensive experience of working in an environmental role, you will have had exposure to the mining and mineral resources industry. With proven business management experience at an executive or senior level, you will have operated at board level. Highly skilled in environmental, financial and project management with strong commercial and business acumen, you'll be an excellent communicator, with the ability to demonstrate your ability to lead, mentor and develop employees.
A business or financial post graduate qualification or project management certificate would be advantageous in this role.
