As Director of Environmental Assessments, you will have a substantial experience of working on complex development projects internationally with a passion for the world's natural environment. Working closely with the planning and design functions the role will oversee and accept ownership of environmental and social performance (ESIA) across project teams and key stakeholders and/or regulators.
Reporting to the Executive Director this leadership role will manage a team providing technical and managerial direction as well as training and mentoring support.
Candidates will require demonstrable ESIA experience (c. 20 years) working in the Middle East on complex, high value (c. $2m) projects within sensitive ecological environments. This will be with a diverse combination of consultancy and project or development work.
Candidates should have a master's degree in Environmental Engineering or Science and will ideally have experience in a marine setting.
This is a permanent role and will accommodate candidates on either a single or family status. The role will require some travel and time away as the projects demand.
