This is an outstanding opportunity to work in the middle east within the O&G supply chain sector to head up the safety management in a world class organisation. The company plan, organise and manage medium to large project transportation with a strong emphasis of on-time and on budget with a proven track record in the region.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director this role will be responsible for leading the delivery of HSE and setting the goals and expectations for performance across the organisation and its affiliations.
A key part of this role will be to manage 3rd party contractors through the Contractor Safety Management System, ensure best practice is achieved and implement the integration of employee safety through line management. Working with Senior Management, the role will instigate cultural and behavioural safety initiatives to embed safety across the business to achieve the required standards.
Candidates will need experience of developing and managing an audit schedule and working with management systems. The role is working at a senior level managing a team and influencing senior management, therefore, the ability to communicate confidently and demonstrate leadership throughout the business across various nationalities is a must.
Candidates should have experience ideally working in the Middle East but will have experience in a 'heavy industrial' setting which could include Oil & Gas or mining but this will include a demonstrable track record within the logistics or supply chain sector.
