Operative - Grounds Maintenance

You will be a 'hands-on' pragmatic individual with a Grounds Maintenance, Horticultural or Landscaping background. You will be responsible for, delivering grounds maintenance, horticultural, agricultural and landscaping contracts: safely, to specification, to budget, on-time and in-full.
As a Grounds Maintenance Key Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships, delivering projects, leadership and management of both yourself, colleagues and sub-contractors. It is expected that this role will develop and expand in tandem with the business.
You will demonstrate you existing skills in leading, managing and developing colleagues, while delivering multisite operations across a ground's maintenance portfolio.
In this role you will have a proven prior practical experience in countryside management undertaking agricultural, horticultural or landscaping activities. You will hold a 'full' and 'clean' driving licence, along with a towing licence (B & E) and PA1 - PA6 spraying tickets.
Ideally you will hold a CSCS / SMSTS card, have previous experience in Weed control, Hedge Maintenance, Border Maintenance as well as having knowledge of working with Strimmer's / Brush cutters, Ride-on Mowers and Tractor mowing.
In order to be successful in this role you must be suitable for working on sensitive sites as required and thus have a 'clean' unhindered return on a DBS check undertaken by the client.
