Calling all lead Toxicologists

One of Europe's leading multidisciplinary environmental consultancies is looking for an experienced and dedicated Toxicologist to Lead and manage Toxicology projects throughout the project cycle this will include scoping the work, planning the resources and ensuring timely and profitable delivery. This role is based in Cambridgeshire, This role has the potential for Homebased Working.

This is you chance to work as part of a team renowned for providing strategic support for chemical and product registrations across Europe, encompassing agrochemicals, biocides, veterinary medicines and other chemical products.

As Lead Toxicologist you will be part of a team specialising in designing and conducting higher tier studies, toxicology and ecotoxicology hazard characterization and risk assessments for chemicals, biocides, pesticides, and food contact materials compliance, etc.

In the role of Lead Toxicologist, you will be responsible for developing, managing and delivering innovative Toxicology support throughout the project cycle. You will be expected to personally deliver toxicology consultancy to a range of commercial clients, including gaining expertise in the evaluation of the endocrine disrupting potential of substances according to the new EU criteria, in a varied, dynamic and supportive environment. To manage, nurture and support a small group of toxicologists.

Ideally you will hold a post graduate degree (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline, along with being a member of a Professional Register in Toxicology (perhaps ERT). This along with your working knowledge of chemical use and regulation as relevant to human health within the industrial chemical/agricultural/environmental sectors in the UK and Europe will aid you in writing clear and accurate scientific reports, and conducting literature reviews, suitable for submission to international regulatory authorities, while working with regulators on behalf of clients, as needed

The Successful candidate must have a willingness to work flexibly with occasionally travel expected within Europe.
