Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Job description

As a Senior Mechanical Building Services / HVAC Engineer you will be a lead member in a dynamic and innovative team, contributing to the successful delivery of projects from concept strategies through to post-completion evaluations.

Work on a wide mix of exciting MEP building projects; from large mixed-use schemes, data centres, critical facilities, commercial office fit-outs, heritage buildings, and rail projects. Mentor and lead young engineers so they can grow and develop rapidly within the company allowing you to create your own profit centre and benefit from their strong systems and brand.

If you want to take your career to the next level, build client relationships and lead projects, enjoy challenging engineering, and be on a path to Directorship this is an excellent opportunity. Need to have a Mech Eng degree adn ideally a MSc in Engineering or M Eng in buildign service, be eligible to work the UK (work permit or resident), fluent in English.

Key deliverables include:

  • Plan, manage, undertake and deliver high-quality detailed engineering system design for building services including calculations, analysis, development of schematics, preparation of drawings, explanatory diagrams, models, specifications, equipment schedules, and other documentation as required.
  • Represent us at meetings with Clients, professional teams, and contractors.
  • Establish and maintain strong professional working relationships with peer professionals, Clients, contractors and other design team members to maintain our reputation as a trusted advisor to all parties through the lifecycle of projects.
  • Support us in developing the business and Client base.
  • Represent our core values of consistent technical excellence, and enthusiastic and professional project delivery.
  • Maintain knowledge of relevant legislations, standards, regulations, guides and industry best practice.
  • Proactively engage in professional development activities and be familiar with relevant emerging technologies.
  • Comply with our ISO quality procedures and standards
  • Contribute and assist in project and company-related activities in support of other team members
