Senior/Principal Sustainable Finance Advisor.
Do you have circa 10 years' experience working as a Sustainable Finance Advisor?
Do you have a master's degree relevant to sustainability or finance with a good understanding and knowledge of emerging regulations such as EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation and the EU Taxonomy?
Then this is the role for you!
In the role of Senior/Principal Sustainable Finance Advisor, you will be working within the Climate & Sustainability team in the London office (though other locations in the UK considered for the right candidate). You will support the wider team to provide a holistic approach to advising clients on their decarbonisation and broader sustainability and ESG activities across supply chains, reporting requirements, tax, intellectual property and risk management.
As the successful candidate, you will be tasked with supporting clients to develop strategies and solutions to enable successful client outcomes. As a Senior/Principal Sustainable Finance Advisor you will advise clients across a number of sectors, including energy, infrastructure, real estate, and technology, all with a focus on financial services (e.g. project finance, private equity, listed equity, debt capital markets etc).
You should also demonstrate knowledge and understanding of emerging regulations such as EU SFDR, EU Taxonomy, and reporting frameworks, standards and benchmarks, such as TCFD, PRI, ISSB and CDP. Keeping abreast with emerging trends in sustainability such as climate change, carbon accounting, voluntary carbon markets, net zero, transition plans, Science-based targets Initiatives, and nature-based solutions will come naturally to you.
To succeed in the Senior/Principal Sustainable Finance Advisor role, you will have a track record of successful business development and winning work within financial services. Alongside This experience, you will have previous experience in product development as well as delivering successful sustainability client outcomes at scale, with a proven ability to manage a growing team and develop line reports to achieve high team performance.
