Statistician Needed in Wolverhampton or Bristol.
This is you chance to work for the UK's largest provider of research and advice on agricultural and environmental issues, you will join a multi-disciplinary team of research scientists and consultants. Primarily working within the Modelling & Informatics team, you will bridge the gap across to the crop physiology/ protection, soil, policy & economics, sustainable food & farming and ecology teams within the business. You will; be part of a team who's expertise cover; digital data collection, remotely sensed data sourcing and utilisation, data management & analysis, mathematical modelling & tool building, GIS analysis & cartographic services and software development and programming.
Ideally you will be a qualified statistician (a postgraduate qualification in statistics would be welcomed) with the ability to communicate statistical concepts to non-statisticians, while offering support our team and others in the business in the design and analysis of agricultural trials, as well as the application of state-of-the-art statistical techniques in a wide range of research and consultancy projects.

Working directly with scientists to help set study objectives, determine optimum experimental design, and analyse results. You will have previous exposure to different types of projects including catchment management; precision farming applications; yield enhancement; resource use efficiency (e.g. nutrients and pesticides); land use and land use change; land management; ecology; planning constraints and environmental policy.
