UK Country Manager
£110,000k- £120,000k / London UK, St Hellier Jersey, Johannesburg South Africa, Gaborone Botswana, Dar es Salaam Tanzania and Bamako Mali
Are you an Operational Leadership professional with experience in a similar leadership role within the environmental or resource industry, looking for a great new role?
We're looking for a UK Country Manager, to lead and direct the operational day to day activities within the UK, developing client relationships throughout Africa and in North and South America, and provide technical advice and input on projects. If this sounds like you, read on!
The role
You'll be expected to;
Deliver operational leadership and assume full responsibility for all relationships between the company and its clients within the UK and in regions assigned
Direct the day to day operational management of the UK business, applying as required a hands-on approach to producing solutions to strategic, technical, commercial, operational and personnel related challenges which impact on customer service and performance.
On award of projects, lead the delivery teams in achieving their goals and objectives and ultimately ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, technically compliant and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Ensure an emphasis is placed on further developing a high-performing, innovative and influential operational support function capable of devising bespoke technical solutions to meet client requirements.
Develop an annual sales plan for existing and future clients and ensure excellent client relationships are maintained by building openness and trust.
Requirements
You will have skills and experience in;
Post graduate degree in Environmental, Scientific, Engineering or Social Science fields.
10 or more years in a similar leadership role within the environmental or resource industry.
4-6 years' experience carrying our business development.
