Allen and York are working closely with a renowned UK organisation, a business where there are a variety of challenges and high standards to maintain round-the-clock 365 days a year.
To meet demand and increase capability the business is looking for a Fire Health & Safety Advisor to be based at the busy HQ in West London. These are pivotal roles and play a crucial part in supporting business units to manage their safety performance and understand risks.
As FHS Advisor you will support the business and work closely with senior management and safety representatives to achieve aims and goals set by senior management, working in collaboration to drive a safety-first message and bring consistency across operations.
Key tasks include providing technical advice and coaching, undertaking risk assessments and FHS audits, communicating new methods, identifying training needs and implementing safety improvement plans, submitting reports and liaising with authorities and stakeholders.
To meet the challenges of this role is expected that you will have:
· Achieved at least Nebosh General Certificate, working towards National Diploma.
· Solid experience in an advisory role ideally from a large, multi-faceted organisation.
· IOSH membership, working to achieve Chartership
· Certification in Fire Safety would be advantageous
