Allen & York are proud to be working exclusively with an exciting brand in the Leisure and Hospitality sector who are going through a significant period of growth and development. The company operate 21 sites across the UK ranging in size and service offering some of which offer accommodation through to single day activities.
The company have seen growth over the past 5 years and are an 'entrepreneurial' organisation employing nearly 300 people. This new role is an opportunity to create and shape Health & Safety across the organisation through the development of a strong and robust culture allowing the company to flourish and continue in its development.
We are looking for Health & Safety candidates who have experience ideally in the leisure, hospitality or entertainment sector who have either created and developed Health & Safety for an independent organisation or have worked in sector as part of a bigger company now looking to expand and take on a new challenge.
Useful experience will be working with aspects such licenced premises, food hygiene and swimming pool safety. Candidates should be qualified to NEBOSH Diploma ideally with knowledge or qualifications in auditing and management systems.
The role reports into the senior management team and candidates will be familiar and happy working with management as well as travel and working remotely. A 'can do' attitude is essential as is the ability to bring Health & Safety to life, making it real and relevant throughout the organisation.
