The role of Lead Risk Analyst will work with the Principal Risk Analyst to lead, motivate, and develop a team of risk and safety intelligence analysts. The role will plan, manage and carry out risk modelling, analysis and research activities including: The development and maintenance of the Safety Risk Model (SRM) as well as leading and providing technical oversight of the SRM and developing RSI analysts' capability.
Candidates will require an analyst's toolset such as that gained on a STEM degree course and/or developed through practical career application, which includes experience of quantified analysis, experience of building models to analyse complex problems, using analysis and models to assess issues and identify solutions and draw conclusions.
It would be highly advantageous for candidates to have a working knowledge of risk assessment and risk management techniques as well as an inquisitive mind with experience of applying analytical thinking and problem-solving with an ability to quickly understand complex information. The ability to work autonomous and proactive, be self-motivated and be able to act on own initiative is a quality required to be effective in this position.
Candidates will likely come from a risk management background working in a regulatory environment such as nuclear, rail, aerospace or consultancy.
The company offer a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package including hybrid working but access to London should be considered as will be a requirement once a week minimum.
