Job Title: Multi-discipline inspector - Rotterdam



Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Offshore Multi-discipline inspector to ensure the integrity and quality of welding, coatings, and non-destructive testing activities on offshore construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a range of certifications, including CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector, CSWIP-BGAS Coatings Inspector, PCN II certifications in Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, and Penetrant Inspection, along with GWO Basic Training and a valid Offshore Medical Certificate.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections and quality control activities according to project specifications, international standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Perform visual inspections, weld inspections, and coatings inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Utilize ultrasonic testing techniques to detect defects in welds and materials.
- Conduct magnetic particle and penetrant inspections to identify surface defects in materials.
- Ensure that all quality control documentation is accurately completed and maintained.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in safety briefings, toolbox talks, and safety audits to maintain a safe working environment.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Requirements:
- CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector certification.
- CSWIP-BGAS Coatings Inspector certification.
- PCN II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (3.1-3.2 EN473/ISO9712).
- PCN II certification in Magnetic Particle Inspection (EN473/ISO9712).
- PCN II certification in Penetrant Inspection (EN473/ISO9712).
- GWO Basic Training certification.
- Valid Offshore Medical Certificate including the Chester Step Test.
- Proven experience working as a quality control inspector in offshore construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of relevant international standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to work in challenging offshore environments for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional certifications or training related to quality control and inspection.
- Experience with advanced non-destructive testing techniques.
- Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools for quality control and inspection.

**Location:** Offshore locations, including but not limited to oil rigs, platforms, and marine vessels.

**Employment Type:** Full-time, contract-based.
Start Date: 12/04/24 Completion Date: 31/10/24
No of Visits: 203 Hours Per Visit: 12

**Salary:** Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
