Using your 4+ years' experience in the sector working on construction sites, you will be adept at influencing non environmental specialists and ensuring sustainability initiatives are implemented effectively. You'll be able to use your experience of having dealt with a range of environmental issues including environmental permits and consents, waste management, maintaining and improving the Environmental Management System in accordance with ISO 14001:2015, conducting audits and driving forward sustainability best practice.
This role would suit someone with a can do attitude who can work independently and who can deal with questions and queries to ensure the best outcome. Your positive approach will be valued, as will any previous experience having managed more junior team members as you'll be responsible for one sustainability advisor.
Not afraid to challenge ideals and be resolute? Perfect as these will be required but in return you will be recognised for driving change and improving the sites from an environmental and sustainability perspective.
Covering a region, you will regularly attend sites so perfect for those who don't like to be sat in one place for too long and your ability to multi task will be put to the test with numerous sites to manage.
Your experience of having input into the strategy of the company will be valued and you'll get the opportunity to build on this by attending monthly meetings and liaising with the Group functions.
Are you in the SE but not wanting to go into London? Perfect as this role covers a region to the east and north of London but you will require a car so a full driving licence is essential.
