This is a fabulous opportunity to join a building services company who are industry leaders in the design of MEP engineering for buildings. Their experience covers multiple sectors and throughout their history the company have an impressive portfolio of buildings they have worked on.

The company, as part of their commitment to sustainability, have a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals and within that are now looking to recruit a Head of Energy and Sustainability to lead on the development of the Energy and Sustainability strategy.

Reporting directly to the CEO the role will advise the company its goal of achieving and maintaining its carbon neutrality as well as leading on the creation of a Net Zero roadmap and carbon reduction initiatives. The role will provide understanding of energy and thermal modelling as well as passive design techniques and BREEAM.

The role will manage the internal team as well as be responsible for growing the team in line with the growth strategy of the company. A strong customer interaction focus is key with the role able to build and deliver on relationships as well assisting with tender bid support.

Candidates will have worked at a senior level in a consultancy set up and have demonstrable leadership skills, able to lead and develop a team. Experience of working in building design, smart buildings and an understanding of MEP would be advantageous.

The role is flexible in location with hybrid working in operation and offices across the UK.
