Allen & York are excited to be working with one of the UK's largest and fastest growing environmental, health, safety and engineering consultancies, serving clients globally across the energy, property, manufacturing, public and transport sectors.
Our client has several exciting opportunities for Social Consultants with a range of experience.
The successful candidates will join a centre of expertise, working with diverse communities around the world, supporting clients to maintain social licence to operate and providing practical, solution-focussed social risk management advice.
You'll need to hold a first degree in a relevant discipline, such as Social Studies, Anthropology or Environmental Policy. Dependant on the role, you will have had relative experience of working to social standards of the international financing institutions (e.g. IFC, EBRD, EIB), ideally within a consultancy setting. An excellent communicator, you'll be able to communicate confidently and effectively with your colleagues and have the ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Additional language skills, particularly Arabic, French, or Spanish would be advantageous to this role, as would experience of working in the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and across Europe.
