Senior Town Planner Bournemouth

Do you want to work for a successful independent Planning Practice, with considerable experience in the planning and development sector?

Do you want to work on a variety of projects?

Then this is the role for you!

Base in Bournemouth in Dorset, you will be a Chartered Member of the RTPI, you will hold an RTPI accredited Honours Degree and/or Diploma or Masters Qualification, you will use this experience to successfully deliver planning applications and permissions.

While taking a broad area of responsibility for all aspects of the planning and development process including planning policy and appraisal work, land promotion, provision of planning consultancy services along with detailed development management and delivery.

Drawing on your 5 -10 years' worth of experience within the planning sector you will be well placed to undertake site appraisals and provide strategic and tactical planning advice to clients at senior levels. Your experience will lend itself to allowing you to play a key role in developing the client base of the business while enhancing the overall reputation of the consultancy.

You will be working closely with our other Planners and help manage and deliver new projects as part of the business planned growth.

You will be responsible for working proactively and utilising your own initiative on a range of projects, focusing on the large scale residential sector, processing all types of planning applications as well as being able to prepare and present reports to clients, along with writing appeal statements and attending planning hearings/inquiries will be second nature to you.
