Business Development Manager

Job description

Our client is a not for profit organisations working together for a cleaner, safer and sustainable environment. They are authorised by the government to approve biomass and solid fuel heating appliances, fuels and services, with plans to expand and diversify as part of a small group of independent not for profit companies.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled manager or team leader who has experience of driving a successful and high performing team. You will bring with you confidence in strategy development, business planning and KPI setting, and be practiced at motivating and coaching team members to achieve business plan KPIs aligned to the Company's purpose and objectives.

With a customer centric approach and background, you'll be a manager who provides hands on support and coaching to aid customer relationship management and skills development within your team. You'll lead by example and will promote high standards, including customer excellence, robust data integrity and applicant evaluation.

With responsibility for developing new & existing business streams and partnerships, and lead generation, you will engage confidently with stakeholders, including visits when beneficial. You will also be comfortable attending external events to network and bring back business opportunities which will help to innovate the future and
support the Company's ambitious growth plans.

You're not alone in this journey for success; working to shared goals, you will be able to work collaboratively with managers company-wide. You will be supported by an Operations Manager who you will keep informed and provide sales performance management information and analysis to, demonstrating confident use of the CRM and MS Office.
