Senior Safety Specialist

Job description

This is a rare opportunity to join a world renown organisation working on a high security facility to deliver a programme of works over the next 10 years. The site is highly secure and sensitive and so DV Security clearance is required for this role to be in place.

The role will act as a key member of the SHEW team and will support the construction programme working closely with on site stakeholders and delivering expertise in H&S assurance activities ensuring that relevant programmes of work are adhered to and delivered to industry and legislative standards.

Candidates will be required to be on site 5 days a week and should have excellent customer delivery and stakeholder engagement skill. The role is an evolving one where in the first 12-18 months the role will be restricted to a secure project but will open out to larger works.

Candidates will need to have experience of construction in a high hazard environment and should be NEBOSH Diploma qualified.

It is essential that candidates are security cleared to DV level. Due to the nature of the work, UK citizens are only permitted to apply for this opportunity.
